Iconic Seaview Hotel to undergo major rejuvenation

The iconic Seaview Hotel in Townsville is to undergo a major refurbishment with DA documents about to be lodged. The project will include a total rejuvenation of internal areas, new spacious gaming room extension, and extensive renovation of the beer garden. Other works will include relocation of the drive-through bottleshop and increased retail bottleshop space.

The awards just seem to keep coming for DDA projects with The Mount Isa Hotel’s, Rodeo Bar & Grill taking out the 2017 QHA award for Best Casual Dining. Congratulations to the Hakfoort Group for this award, great to see a provincial hotel taking out such a prestigious award. 2017 AHA National Awards for Excellence: Best Redeveloped Hotel – Crows Nest Hotel

Fantastic news received this week when one of our Sydney projects, the Crows Nest Hotel received the National Award for Best Redeveloped Hotel from the Australian Hotels Association. After winning the NSW AHA award last year, The Crowie has capped off its achievements by winning the award at the recent awards held on the Gold Coast.

The hotel is extremely popular with Sydney siders and you should check out the hotel’s website to view all the goings on that occur there.

Burke & Wills Hotel Commences Construction

Iconic Burke & Wills Hotel Redevelopment is Underway

Construction work for the redevelopment of the Burke & Wills Hotel, Toowoomba, has been underway now for 2 months, and although it is still primarily in the demolition stage, the spaces are starting to open up and the iconic building is starting to take on a new identity.

The external curtain wall is well underway and will start to be revealsed in the coming weeks.

We at DDA are looking forward to the transformation.

Another DDA project has recently achieved some media coverage – this time the $10 million refurbishment of the Burke & Wills Hotel.
Documentation is underway with tender documents to be completed by the end of February.

Fantastic news for DDA when the Crows Nest Hotel in Sydney won the NSW AHA Award for Best New/Redeveloped Hotel – City.
Congratulations to ALH, Rohrig Constructions, and the team at DDA for producing a great project.
